The sixth volume of the journal Sustainable Food Production presents the latest scientific outputs on studying the potency of seed extracts of Aframomum melegueta (Roscoe) K.Schum. against postharvest rot fungi isolated from lime and lemon fruits; efficacy of production from cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz) of the three types of food: fried granules (garri), dough (fufu or akpu) and chips; determination of the effects of planting space on the nutrient composition of “Umuspol” and “Ex-Onyunga” orange fleshed sweet potatoes breeds grown in the South-East Nigeria as well as estimation of the impact of potassium on natural storage ability of different potatoes varieties.

The issue ends with the article devoted to the analysis of the influencing of goat production on the environment in the Humid Tropics in the example of Southeast Nigeria.
