Description:
This volume of Journal of Horticulture and Plant Research reports on the latest scientific findings dealt with estimation of accessions of sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam.) genotypes based on their agro-morphological descriptors in different ecological zones in Kenia as well as evaluation of the wide-adapted ability via phenotypic assessment of two rice (Oryza sativa L.) mutant populations generated from MNU (N-methyl-N-Nitrosourea)-induced mutation; assessment of the potential increase of salt tolerance, seedling growth, low molecular weight antioxidants and enzymatic antioxidants in Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) seedlings by using plant growth promoting endophytes (Bacillus cereus and Bacillus aerius) as seed soaking; examination of the influence of different doses of humic acid on growth, yield and flowering of Calendula officinalis L., and also determination of the influence of harvesting immature fruits, fruits processing, and substrate on Dalbergia nigra Allem. ex Benth. germination process.
Additionally, it can be found a mini-review devoted to analyzing the effectiveness of P fertilizers for wheat crop production in Pakistan.
