Description:
The volume of the International Journal of Pharmacology, Phytochemistry and Ethnomedicine shows the latest scientific researches which are focused on studying the effects of Glycyrrhiza glabra L. (Licorice), Mentha piperita L. (Peppermint) and their blend teas on serum lipids of Wistar rats; determination of the potential anti-secretory and spasmolytic mechanism of Crinum jagus (J. Thomps.) Dandy water/ethanol extract; evaluation of the antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory potentials of methanolic extract of Excoecaria agallocha L. (leaves) in vitro; investigation of D-002 reduces histological features and improves functional outcomes in a rat model of CFA-induced arthritis; examination of antioxidant activity of ethanol extract of propolis collected from different geographical origin in India; exploration of the anti-inflammatory, antinociceptive and antioxidant activities of five new synthesized paratoluene sulphonamide derivatives of amino acids; assessment of antidiabetic and antioxidant activities of Crinum jagus extracts on induced diabetes rats.
Also we would like to present for our readers several reviews. The first of them is developed in order to perform a comprehensive literature´s review about plants used as anti-parasitic either in traditional or popular medicine in Argentina. The second is dealt with the trends attempted in recent years of the making of pancreatic β cells. And the last one is concerned with malnutrition in Bangladesh, where the rate of feasting and underweight both remain still inappropriately high nowadays.
